There is a thing that happens
when you are designing in color
Two colors will slide up next to each other
so vivid
so different
they appear to vibrate
[buzz]
Today, some of the trees were on fire
vibrating aginst the heavy grey sky
the breeze lifting their embers up
and showering down
a blazing ticker-tape parade
[What is ticker-tape?]
[Why do I care?]
Pumpkins mock me
gaping mouths and wild eyes
they taunt me with freedom
to stop the mad commute
step out of the car
and get lost
in the flaming profusion of the trees
[i am lost]
