MMMMMmmmmmmmm..... nummy!
Jan. 25th, 2007 08:08 pmIf co-worker insists we have a "team dinner" on my saturday, and tells me to bring a cheese tray, they deserve what they get.
For all those cheese-o-pjiles out there, the tray consits of a small bowl of Greek Country Mix pitted olives, surrounded by Carr's Rosemary, Wheat, and Butter crackers, (decoratively displayed, naturally.)
In and among the crackers is nestled:
Rosette de Lyon Dry Salami,
Welsh Red Dragon with Mustard and Ale,
VT Extra Sharp Hunter's Cheddar (so they have something normal to resort to,)
Holland Smoked Gouda with Garden Herbs,
and my personal favorite:
Gjetost Norwegian Goat Cheese (which looks like a smooth peanut butter log, has the texture of sculpty, but is really nice all the same.)
Let them suffer with my wierd chese tastes!
The upshot of this is that I put it together tonight, and so had a very nummy dinner including a bit of all of the above. I have some very happy tastebuds right now.
